Directory templates

Fill empty profile files with researched content. One template per directory describes the entry shape; the plugin applies it across one file or a whole folder.

  • Streams to the file as Perplexity returns chunks — failures surface in seconds, not minutes.

  • cf_last_run + cf_last_run_model stamped to frontmatter so you can query for staleness.

Type a term, get a 600–800 word researched article streaming into the active note. Citations included. Optional image embedding.

Highlight a passage, ask Perplexity for screenshots that visually illustrate it. Restricted to the entity's domain (frontmatter url) — no third-party stock imagery sneaking in.

  • Strict client-side rejection of off-domain images — better to surface "none found" than to insert noise.
  • Falls back to even distribution when the model emits no placement markers.

Four templates, one paradigm

On first plugin load, perplexed creates zz-cf-lib/templates/ in your vault and drops these in plus a README. Edit them. Add your own. The runtime never overwrites a customized template.
