What this slide is
The title card and framing for Demo 1 — Cortado Ventures presenting Claude Teams as the operational backbone of a small fund. Two presenters, same firm, complementary angles. Mike covers the on-ramp + the agent-hygiene practices + the LP DDQ acceleration; Raeed covers the fundraising / admin / audit workflows that compose on top.
The slide is the title card for the demo segment — the actual demo content happens live in screen-share. This slide gives the audience the framing and the takeaway questions to listen for.
Why it’s here
After 05a–c primed the audience to participate (accounts, polls, breakouts framing), 06a is the first lightning demo. It grounds the abstract “agentic VC” discussion in a concrete shipped stack at a real fund.
Cortado’s demo is also strategically positioned: both presenters are Kauffman Fellows, from a smaller fund where the constraints (no dedicated ops team, fast turnaround for LPs, audit pressure) are the same as for most of the room. The audience watches it thinking “yes, this is my situation.”
What to surface
- Both presenters’ faces and roles, balanced — this is a joint demo, not Mike’s demo with Raeed in support, or vice versa. Equal visual weight.
- The unifying theme: Claude Teams as the operational backbone. Both angles compose on it.
- The two angles spelled out as Mike’s bullets vs. Raeed’s bullets — but visually unified under the firm + demo theme.
- Three takeaway questions for the audience to listen for. This primes Q3 (“has anyone had a real breakthrough?”) in the breakouts later.
- Time signature: this is meant to be ~10 minutes, but lightning demos usually run long. Set expectations honestly.
Visual hierarchy suggestion
- Top: big headline “Claude Teams for firm impact” — center, with the firm name (Cortado Ventures) as a small line below.
- Middle row: two presenter cards side-by-side. Each has headshot + name + Kauffman-Fellow chip + one-line angle. Symmetric layout — no presenter is “primary.”
- Bottom row: small “topics covered” list as a two-column layout (Mike’s bullets on the left, Raeed’s on the right) so the audience can visually see the division of labor.
- Footer: “Lightning demo · 1 of 2” eyebrow chip in lower-right, low-emphasis. Helps the audience know what’s next (Toby’s demo at 06b).
